Our attorneys have been involved in the annexation and zoning of thousands of acres of land in McHenry County and Northern Illinois. 

Our zoning attorneys have counseled clients regarding the zoning and construction of over one million square feet of industrial development and a like amount of commercial development.  We are also experienced in solar and wind farm contracts.

We have represented small and large developers of residential, commercial and industrial properties for over 40 years.

Zoning, planning, and land use laws give local governments control over the way that land is used, usually with the goal of creating uniform neighborhoods and areas. Zoning laws can be very complex, and many types of zoning exist to regulate building. The violation of zoning laws can be a serious (and expensive) offense, and those accused of violating zoning laws should speak with local real estate lawyers in their area.

We are responsible for preparing all required notices, petitions, annexation agreements, exhibits and other legally required documents. We will also prepare witnesses for hearing and coordinate the services of all experts retained by the client. Our zoning and annexation attorneys have represented clients with unique requests such as landfills, gravel extraction, interstate pipelines, assisted living complexes, solar farms and waste transfer stations to obtain the special use zoning required for their operations.
